Dry Eye
If your eyes are dry, it can impact your vision. In this case, you’re not producing enough tears, or something is bothering your eye. Blurry vision from the dry eye is generally harmless, though you should have an optometry center check just in case.
Myopia
Myopia is a condition where your distance vision is blurry. As a result, you can read things that are close up, but not in the distance. Myopia is treated with corrective lenses, which you’ll need an eye doctor to prescribe. If you have blurry vision, headaches, and eye strain, all of these are common signs of myopia.
Macular Degeneration
Macular degeneration occurs when your macula is damaged, often for age-related reasons. Macular degeneration will cause blurry vision in front of you, but not necessarily your peripheral vision. Again, this is something that requires optometry to control. Since the blurry vision here is so specific, you must talk to your eye doctor about it to get the proper treatment.
Migraine
Many symptoms are involved in migraines, and they are different for everybody. However, blurry visions are among the most common symptoms of migraines. If blurry vision comes with headaches, your doctor might diagnose you with migraines. When blurry vision becomes a new problem with your ongoing migraines, you must talk to your doctor immediately. Then they can make sure it is the migraines and not something worse.
Stroke
Blurry vision can also be a sign of a stroke. This symptom is why getting your blurry vision checked is so important, even if you don’t think it is a big deal. Strokes can be deadly, and don’t always look how you’d expect them to. If your blurry vision comes on suddenly, you should get checked by an emergency room doctor to make sure it isn’t a sign of a stroke.
